We are looking for someone to start immediately. You will need a minimum of 6 years experience in project management of developing, content managing and launching e-commerce, brand and blog sites.
You must be able to demonstrate your ability to explain current technologies and the relationships between front and back-end systems.
Key areas that your knowledge will be tested on at your interview are:
Scheduling and re-sourcing a small web team
Technologies such as Ajax, JQuery, Javascript, PHP, SQL
Ecommerce theory ideally with knowledge of Magento and other e-commerce systems, payment gateways, etc.
Mail management and broadcast systems such as Cheetahmail
Analytics systems such as Google analytics
CRM and CMS theory including blogging platforms such as WordPress, New media systems such as Flash and Air (not essential).
You must also be familiar with current technologies and be a total tech junky! We would expect the lucky candidate to have an in-depth knowledge of what's going on in the world of SEO, Web 2.0 and all things online.
As you can see we are after someone pretty special who loves and understands what the technologies can do, but doesn't necessarily have to be able to use them or programme in them (although that would be a bonus!).
This role is about ensuring that our creative ideas are implemented methodically by our web teams using the most efficient and effective methods available. We need someone who will give our clients total confidence that projects are being managed using correct protocols, up-to-date technologies without loosing the creative edge.
