In a nutshell…
We’re looking for a talented artwork allrounder to join our studio. You’ll need plenty of hands on experience and a technical brain to match.
On a daily basis…
All our artworkers are ultimately the people responsible for turning brilliant creative work into perfect pre-press artwork and ultimately ensure that they will be the beautifully consumer products we all want.
All this means creating artwork to the highest standard, on specification and in good time. Working with the head of production you will be taking briefs, identifying concerns and finding solutions.
It won’t all be about artwork and print specifications – there is plenty of retouching and visualising to go around too and no doubt a few other surprises that spring up from the creative process.
Your friends might describe you as perfectionist but it’s only because you know that if a job’s worth doing then you might as well do it perfectly.
You’ll have experience working with all the standard adobe tools (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat) – anything else is a massive bonus.
You will have a sound understanding of packaging and print processes, have experience working alongside creatives in an agency or pre-press environment and will be more of a problem solver than a brief taker.
We believe that business should be a force for good. We help brands that are big enough to make a difference to start, transform and grow. Occasionally we even share risk with our clients and become partners. Over the last 25 years we’ve established very few rules, other than: only ever work with businesses that are a force for good and whose products we’d consume ourselves, do as we’d be done by, and enjoy every moment. We believe in working with like-minded people who get us, want to help and who have the skills and experience to make a difference. In short, coming to work every morning should be a joy.
Tell us what you’re likely to cost and we’ll tell you if our pockets are deep enough!
We want to see what you can do, so follow the breadcrumbs, tell us a bit about you and, most importantly, show us some examples of your work. In more normal times, if we liked the cut of your jib, your CV and the things people say about you we’d have invited you over for a cup of tea, but with the pandemic still circulating it will have to be another zoom meeting. We have actually got pretty good at it, having pre-empted all the lockdowns and gone virtual ahead of most other businesses last march! Rest assured we’ll make it as easy an experience as possible and spend some time telling you more about us and hearing more about you.Click here to apply online
